Water Advisor app for iPhone and iPad

The Vitens Water Advisor tells you whether tap water is safe to drink wherever you are in the world. If it is not, we give you tips on how to drink water safely in that particular country: which measures you can take to make tap water drinkable and what you should be aware of if you wish to buy water to drink.

In addition to this, the app is full of facts about water: where does tap water in a specific country come from? How is water purified there? What is the most expensive water in the world? Where do people use the biggest volume of water?

You can select countries as favourites and look them up later in a convenient overview. With the push of a button, you can share the information on Twitter.

An extensive Frequently Asked Questions section answers questions such as: how long do I have to boil water for it to be safe to drink? Can I use unsafe water to brush my teeth? Can I filter or purify water myself?

All information in this app is available in both English and Dutch. It was collated for Dutch water company Vitens.
